About the cutting boards...

We’re passionate about sustainability and often incorporate reclaimed materials into our furniture pieces. However, when it comes to cutting boards, we use only new, food-safe hardwoods to ensure they’re safe, clean, and built to last—no shortcuts—just solid craftsmanship and responsibly sourced wood.  

 

Each cutting board is carefully crafted from a single, solid slab of walnut—no glue joints—offering lasting durability and a naturally striking grain pattern.

 

Each board goes through six stages of sanding, with the grain raised and resanded three times to ensure a soft, smooth feel that lasts through use and repeated washings.  

 

The long edges are hand-shaped with a natural live edge, while the short ends are beveled at 30 degrees for comfortable handling on flat surface.
